Olympic Volleyball is a fast paced feast of leaps and smashes where competitors in teams of six battle it out to send the ball over the 2 meter high dividing net that separates them from the opposing team.
Olympic Volleyball matches are made up of five sets, with each team aiming to be the first to reach 25 points to win. The object of the game is to hit the ball over the net to land in the other team’s half of the court without them being able to send it back. Players from each team can pass the ball three times within their side before the ball must go over the net in to the oppositions half of the court.
With two medals available for men's and women's teams, the London 2012 Olympic Volleyball events are going to be fast, entertaining and highly competitive. With interantional teams coming to Earls Court during the Games, you can book a Games Break to be right there too.
